JOB DESCRIPTION

 

 

 

Job Title: Greenskeeper  Part-Time

 

Overall Purpose:  Under immediate supervision, maintains grounds by performing any combination of the following tasks: mowing, maintain flowerbeds, weedeats, change cups, change tee markers, repair divots, perform necessary janitorial work including cleaning restrooms and shop, water greens.

 

Examples of work performed:

 

  1. Performs all mowing activities involved with ground maintenance.
  2. Weedeat necessary areas.
  3. Maintain flowerbeds.
  4. Change cups on greens, change tee markers and repair divots.
  5. Perform necessary janitorial work including cleaning restrooms and shop.
  6. May spend some time operating heavier equipment, more time on medium to light equipment.
  7. Waters greens
  8. Perform other job related duties as required.

 

Equipment/Materials

 

Mowers, hand tools, weedeater, chainsaw, edger, tractor, loader, aerifiers and utility vehicles.

 

Physical Demands:

 

Requires considerable standing and walking and bending, stooping, may require some climbing.  May require lifting of different quantities of pesticides and fertilizers in excess of 50 pounds.
